The Pawley’s Island Hammock Shops Village is home to the Original Pawley’s Island Rope Hammock, first created in 1938. Now you can make a whole day out of your visit. The drive to the Hammock Shops Village is only about an hour from North Myrtle Beach and about a half hour from Downtown Myrtle Beach, so it makes for an easy day trip! There are plenty of interesting sights to see along the way and the destination itself is worth the drive.
