Fall Time is the Best Time to Visit North Myrtle Beach

Fall just arrived to the Grand Strand and already the beach is embracing the new season. The days are still beautiful and full of the South Carolina sunshine, but visitors are enjoying cooler weather. The humidity is getting lower every day. Temperatures this time of year stay around the 80s during the day and dip into the 60s at night. Our fall climate is a dream and makes it easy to enjoy the beach long after the summer season has passed.

Another added benefit of summer being over is smaller crowds. You can lay out on the beach and practically have the space all to yourself. There are also shorter wait times at local restaurants and favorite attractions. The City of North Myrtle Beach and the surrounding areas have several events planned for this fall. Come check it out for yourself!

North Myrtle Beach Events

North Myrtle Beach is hosting the Irish Italian Festival (Sept. 25). This festival offers live entertainment, arts and crafts, festival food, and even a spaghetti eating contest. Apart from festivals, North Myrtle Beach is continuing the Music on Main Concert Series. Bring your beach chair and enjoy live music and dancing on Thursday evenings. Who says Fridays get all the fun?

The local wineries in the North Myrtle Beach area are also hosting some fall events. La Belle Amie Vineyard is conducting a Saturday concert series. They are kicking off Fall with the “Hello Autumn 2021 Fest” (Sept. 25th). The event includes live music from two bands, wines, beers, beverages, and festival foods to enjoy in their beautiful outdoor venue. The vineyard is having a similar event every Saturday through the end of October. Duplin Winery also has “Music in the Courtyard” events. You can enjoy a glass of wine while listening to live music or participate in a wine tasting. Wine tastings include a sample of at least 10 wines and Duplin’s gourmet crackers which are made in-house. Enjoying the North Myrtle Beach breezes while sipping on a chilled glass of wine is a great way to spend an autumn afternoon.

Myrtle Beach Area Events

Myrtle Beach also has several events planned for the fall season. Explore a pumpkin patch or build a scarecrow at Brookgreen Garden’s Harvest Home Festival (Oct. 8). Indulge in your favorite beer or find a new favorite at the Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest at Market Common (Oct. 8th-Oct. 9th). Enjoy some Greek food, music, and dancing at the St. John’s Greek Festival (Oct.14th-Oct.16th). The Grand Strand area has a Fall festival or event for all to enjoy!
