Join the North Myrtle Beach Lion’s Club and the Parks and Recreation Department at 3pm September 11th, at the horseshoe in North Myrtle Beach for a memorial vigil to honor the victims of 911. Main Street will be lined with American Flags while Motorcyclists from Rolling Thunder Grand Strand SC3 and the American Legion Riders will begin the ceremony with an honorary ride down Main Street followed with color guards. The day will end with a 21-gun salute, chiming of the fire bell, and a memorial reef that will be laid to sea in honor of the victims and their families.
