What’s there to do in the Myrtle Beach Area?

May 13th, 2020

So you are coming to the Myrtle Beach area or trying to decide if you should come. What’s open and what is there to do?

Of course, our number one question asked is are the beaches open. They are and for you to enjoy. You can sunbathe with social distancing, exercise, or even get a little surf fishing in while you are here. There are plenty of stores open to buy gear and bait or bring your own. The piers are open to fish off of or you can reserve a fishing charter.

Are you not into fishing? Jet ski rentals are open and dolphin tours are available. You can also kayak the Cherry Grove canals or enjoy the beautiful Waccamaw River.

Golf courses are open along with mini-golf courses for the kids. Entertainment complexes like Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach are open but not everything in these complexes is open at this time. A lot of the retail stores are open along with the restaurants for carryout, outdoor, & indoor dining.

Piers:

Cherry Grove Pier
2nd Ave Pier

Kayaking:

Great Adventure Kayaks

River Island Adventure

Private Fishing Charters:
