New Kayak Tours on the Grand Strand!

I just found out about a new attraction being offered in the Myrtle Beach Grand Strand Area. It’s called Great Escapes Kayak Expeditions. Looking for something exciting to do with the whole family? Look no further!

You will get to explore the few remaining parcels of wilderness left along the Grand Strand by paddling the rust colored waters of the Waccamaw River or try kayaking the creeks leading to Waites Island. This is one of the last remaining undeveloped barrier islands along the SC coast. The experienced guides will offer you a glimpse into the natural world through the history of the Native Americans and early settlers who lived amongst the swamps and barrier islands of the coast.

Don’t worry if you’ve never kayaked before they will be sure to instruct you before going out on how to stay safe. Definitely do not forget your camera.

3 hour River Tours: Adults, $55 & Children 12 & under, $45
