Myrtle Beach International Airport Announces New Changes

New changes are coming this week to the Myrtle Beach International Airport as the airport expansion heads into its final phase.  According to the Sun News some of the major changes you will see starting this week are:

On Thursday October 17th the new permanent entrance to the airport opens at the intersection of Harrelson Blvd. and Jetport Road.  Also starting Thursday drivers will take a different route to reach the airports parking areas and passenger drop-off.  Drivers should also be aware that due to safety reasons they will no longer be allowed to sit and wait at the curb by the terminal.  You can still briefly stop long enough to drop off a passenger to pick them up but if the wait time is going to be extended you must go to the parking area.
