Myrtle Beach In January

The winter months in Myrtle Beach still offer vacationers a multitude of activities.  Most of the attractions will be open, but hours may be shorter than the summer season hours.  However, don’t let this keep you away.  There are many advantages to vacationing along the strand in the cooler winter months:

1)       It is much less crowded in January.  This means less waiting in lines at restaurants and shows.
2)      Many of your favorite shopping venues offer huge discounts and sales in the cooler winter months to attract shoppers!
3)      The weather may be cooler but it’s almost always sunny with clear skies!
4)      The average air temperature in January is usually between 56-60 degrees.
5)      There are still plenty of opportunities for fishing, golfing, shopping or just shell hunting on the beach!
