Salute the Military & Kids’ Bike Race – NASCAR Late Models and Stock Races, live music, and fireworks. Myrtle Beach Speedway, 6-11 pm

Friday, July 4

Independence Day 1 mile, 5K, 8K Freedom Races – Grand Park at Market Common, 7 am. Register here.

Pawleys Island July 4th Parade – Family-friendly parade along Myrtle Avenue in Pawleys Island, 10 am.

Wine Down 4th of July – Live music and wine tasting at La Belle Amie Vineyard in Little River, 10 am-6 pm

Murrells Inlet Boat Parade – Kicks off from the Garden City Point and heads down the MarshWalk, 12 noon

Salute from the Shore – Vintage aircraft fly along the coast in a salute to those who serve in the Armed Forces, schedule available here

Cupcake Eating Contest – Live music, children’s activities, and cupcake eating contest at Croissants Bistro and Bakery, 2-5 pm

Family Fourth at the Common – Live music, golf cart parade, beer garden, carnival games, and showing of “Field of Dreams” at Valor Park at The Market Common, 4-9 pm

Hot Dog Eating Contest – Live music and hot dog eating contest on The Deck at the House of Blues, 7:30 pm

Fireworks at Cherry Grove Fishing Pier, 9:30 pm

Fireworks at Second Avenue Pier in Myrtle Beach, 10 pm

Fireworks at Broadway at the Beach, 10 pm

Saturday, July 5

Myrtle Beach Harley-Davidson Independence Day Celebration – BMX Stunts, live music, inflatables and more to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association at MB Harley-Davidson store, 11 am-3 pm

Independence Music Blast – Live music from two local bands, barbecue and wine at La Belle Amie Vineyard in Little River, noon-6 pm
