North Myrtle Beach is Going Green for St. Patrick’s Day

Everybody’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day – at least it seems like that in North Myrtle Beach. Come share the fun with us at The 23rd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival which will be held Saturday, March 12, on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach.

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is coordinated by the North Strand Optimist Club. With more than 100 entries, it is the largest parade on the Grand Strand. The parade is made up of marching bands, floats, beauty queens, area celebrities and more. Among the marching bands to be featured in the 2011 parade are the Wake District Pipes and Drums, Ceol na Gael Irish Pipe Band, and the Burlington Teen Tour Marching Band from Canada.

The festival will feature more than a hundred arts and craft vendors, tons of food, and a business expo. Stop by the Elliott Beach Rentals booth to register to win a free weekend vacation.

So if you’re in the North Myrtle Beach area, look for us and say hi. Also, make sure you wear green so you don’t get pinched. We’ll see you there.
