Fishing Tips in North Myrtle Beach!

Elliott Beach Rentals wants to offer some great tips on fishing while you are on vacation!!!

The area offers several piers to fish from. A fishing license is not required for pier fishing, or if you’re fishing from a rental or area charter boat. Saltwater Fishing Licenses are required for individuals 16 and older harvesting oysters or clams,or individuals fishing from privately owned boats. Click Here for current license pricing. The most common fish caught in the waters off the coast of Myrtle Beach is black sea bass, snapper, grouper, larger sea bass, trigger, dolphin, wahoo, and king mackerel.
Beginning Wednesday, 7/1/2009 residents will have to purchase a $10 yearly license to fish from the shores of South Carolina oceans. Nonresidents will pay $35, with the option to pay $11 for a two-week license.

The Pier at Garden City, 110 Waccamaw Drive, Garden City Beach. Open 7 am – 9 pm daily. Fishing $7.50 ages 13 or older, $3.75 for ages 12 or younger. Free to walk. (843)651-9700.
