Vacationing with Kids

Everyone with a toddler knows that vacationing with them can sometimes be a challenge and making concrete plans for what to do on your trip is almost impossible while you’re working around nap schedules, the inevitable tantrums, spills, messes and multiple clothing changes. To save your sanity the best course of action when traveling with young kids is to simply relax and play it by ear.  Relaxed kids=relaxed Moms & Dads.  A Myrtle Beach vacation rental home is the perfect option for families because it offers more room to spread out than a hotel and having your own kitchen is going to make lunch and snack time a snap.  Not to mention a washer and dryer in the home will make it so much easier on Mom and Dad when it comes time to wash all those clothes instead of having to lug it all down to a laundry area in the hotel.

Elliott Beach Rentals has been helping families find the perfect Myrtle Beach vacation rental for over 50 Years. Call us today at 800-525-0225 or visit www.northmyrtlebeachtravel.com to find a vacation rental home or condo that your family will love.

Myrtle Beach on a Budget

You’re planning your trip to Myrtle Beach and you want to stay within budget without sacrificing any of the great Myrtle Beach attractions or other fun things to do in Myrtle Beach. Having a great vacation on a budget is not impossible.   Here are some tips to put your 2012 vacation in reach:

*Vacation Rentals are the most economical way for a family to take a vacation.  Most include a full kitchen for preparing meals which saves a significant portion of your vacation dollars for other activities.  Along with fully stocked kitchens many also include a washer and dryer in the unit and a lot of families find that that with the extra room in a vacation rental they are often able to split the rental cost with other family members which also helps stretch the vacation budget even further.

*Discount Packages for attractions are a great way to save money on things you were planning to do anyway.  Elliott Beach Rentals offers a great selection of dinner and show packages, golf packages, and even discount tickets to the brand new Pirates Voyage attraction.  Visit our Entertainment and Packages page for more details or call a Vacation Specialists and speak to one of our friendly staff members who can help you determine which package is best for your family.

*Elliott Beach Rentals Price Match Guarantee takes the guesswork and stress out of booking your reservation.  We will meet or beat any reasonable price on a comparable property.  Speak to a Vacation Specialist for details.

Find the Cheapest Gas on Your Myrtle Beach Vacation

Feeling pain at the pump is never fun but it is especially tough for families when you’re trying to stretch your vacation dollars as far as you can. One of the easiest ways to save money on gas is simply to monitor prices by way of Smartphone apps and websites:

Gas Buddy:  Free on Iphone, Blackberry, Android, and Windows devices.
Fuel Finder: Iphone app will cost you $2.99 but states that it can save you over $300.00 per year.
AAA TripTik Mobile: A free Iphone and Android app.
Local iGasUp: Get the cheapest prices & directions to the gas stations.

If you don’t use a Smartphone, you can get the same information by visiting Gasbuddy.comGaspricewatch.com or Cheap Gas Finder by Murphy USA: Access real-time gas prices for Murphy USA and Murphy Express stations near you, and even compare the prices of gas to nearby competitor gas stations. Keep saving money with downloadable coupons.

Another great way to save on your next vacation is to visit our Bargains and Specials page for our most current specials and if you haven’t already done so “like” our Facebook Fan Page for more great specials and money saving offers and contests.
