Vision Airlines Expands to Myrtle Beach International Airport

Direct Air Adding New Flights at Myrtle Beach International Airport

Local carrier Direct Air will add flights to Hagerstown, Md., and Lakeland, Fla., at Myrtle Beach International Airport, officials announced Wednesday, March 30th, 2011 during a press conference.  The Myrtle Beach-based charter company announced the flights are scheduled to begin June 23, 2011.

The Hagerstown flight is intended to serve the Washington and Baltimore suburbs. The Lakeland flight will serve the Orlando and Tampa-St. Petersburg area and will also target SC visitors who want to vacation in Florida.

New Flight between Myrtle Beach and Dallas / Fortworth

The Myrtle Beach Area has gained a new air service. American Eagle Airlines, will begin nonstop service between Myrtle Beach International Airport and Dallas/Fortworth International Airport. The service will begin April 6 and will run through October 31. Flights from Dallas/Fort Worth to Myrtle Beach will leave at 12:15 p.m. daily and flights from Myrtle Beach to Dallas/Forth Worth will leave at 4:25 p.m. Tickets already are on sale!
