Myrtle Beach SkyWheel

SkyWheel Myrtle Beach is a 187-foot tall observation wheel set along the Oceanfront Boardwalk and Promenade in downtown Myrtle Beach. It is the first observation wheel of its kind in the United States and the largest observation wheel east of the Mississippi River. The wheel consists of 42 Swiss-manufactured, climate-controlled, enclosed gondolas, which will accompany up to six passengers each. The attraction will stay open year-round and offers visitors several flight options to choose from.
WonderWorks Museum

WonderWorks bills itself as an “amusement park for the mind,” combining education and entertainment in over 100 hands-on exhibits that will spark the imagination and stimulate the mind. Visitors to the attraction will enjoy a variety of experiences including being blown away by 74 mile per hour hurricane-force winds, maneuvering the controls of a NASA spacecraft to land the shuttle, lying on a bed of 3,500 nails, piloting a fighter jet, designing and riding a 360 degree virtual roller coaster, playing virtual sports and competing in a game of lazer-tag.
Pirates Voyage
Pete Owens, spokesman for Pirates Voyage, says the 30,000 square foot arena will house a 750,000 gallon lagoon, 15 foot deep pool, three pirate ships, two pirate galleons and a sunken wreck. The former Dixie Stampede dinner show entertained millions during its 19-year streak along the Grand Strand. Owens says now is the perfect time to break that streak and “add a new jewel on the crown of Myrtle Beach entertainment.” “We’ll have performers emerging from the water, they’ll be in the sky above the folks in the arena and diving into the water, and of course, they’ll be a battle between pirates,” said Owens of the new show. Pirates Voyage opens June 3rd, 2011.
The Pat Boone Family Theatre

Work is finally starting on the Pat Boone Theater, which had planned to open in Myrtle Beach last year, with officials aiming to have the first shows late this summer. The Pat Boone Family Theatre will be located in the old NASCAR Speed park Building across the street from Broadway at the Beach. The theater, which will have a resident illusionist, gospel concerts, Christmas shows and other family friendly events, aims to have a “soft” opening in mid-July and a grand opening in August. Evening shows will cost $34.95, while matinees will cost $24.95. Children’s tickets will be $8.95.
Hooray for Hollywood

The Hooray for Hollywood show will be playing at the Palace Theatre just outside Broadway at the Beach. The show offers some of the best songs from the Broadway productions of “Singing in the Rain” and “The Lion King”.
Legends in Concert

The original Legends show that was housed in the Surfside Beach area of the Grand Strand has moved to the old Club Kryptonite Building in Myrtle Beach off of 17 Bypass. All reports states that the new venue is great and the show is better than ever!
Land Shark Bar & Grill Restaurant

Jimmy Buffet has another great restaurant to visit in Myrtle Beach! The Land Shark Bar & Grill is located on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and offers Jimmy Buffett Land Shark Lager Beer along with great food and beautiful beach views.
2011 will be nothing short of amazing and now is the perfect time to reserve your Myrtle Beach vacation home or condo. Also visit our exclusive Elliott VIP Coupon page for discounts off of restaurants and attractions in the Myrtle Beach area.

House of Blues Myrtle Beach is located at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach. This means one of the top venues for live music in the area is easy accessible by all Elliott Beach Rental guests. In addition to hosting numerous concerts on tour throughout the year, the House of Blues is also a popular destination for dining and entertainment. I advise everyone visit the House of Blues on Sunday for inspiring gospel performances and an amazing buffet. It is great! If breakfast isn’t you thing how about a little dinner and maybe a murder. An interactive comedy?Who dunnit? Dinner show. A murder happens during the course of your meal and your held in the middle of a murder investigation. Everyone is a suspect? Figure out who the killer is and you may be rewarded!
